PUNO - COLCA CANYON TOUR - AREQUIPA - 2D/1N

DAY 1: AREQUIPA – CHIVAY + VISIT TO THERMAL BATHS OF LA CALERA.

Experience a unique way to appreciate the beautiful landscapes and local fauna through southern Peru.

On this tour, the guide will pick up our passengers from their hotels (Puno downtown) to go to Chivay in a safe and comfortable bus. On the way there are guided stops that will allow you to enjoy the views and get to know places such as:

• "Lagunillas" Lagoon: Where you will appreciate the local fauna and variety of birds (flamingos, Andean gulls, etc.)
• Pampa Cañahuas: Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, the habitat of South American camelids (vicuñas, lamas and alpacas).
• Patapampa Lookout: Since where you will appreciate the Western Cordillera, the Ampato, and the main volcanoes (Sabancaya, Misti and Chachani).

The duration of the trip is 6 hours approx from Puno to Chivay, arriving at midday. In the afternoon we will go to the thermal baths of La Calera to relax and enjoy the healing medicinal waters. Finally, our team will transfer our passengers to your hotel.

DAY 2: CHIVAY – COLCA CANYON – CRUZ DEL CÓNDOR – CHIVAY – PUNO.

After breakfast, the guide will pick up the passengers around 6:00 a.m., from your hotel in Chivay to depart to "Cruz del Cóndor" look-out and the Colca Canyon, a place where we can observe the beauty of the majestic flight of the condors

Upon returning to Colca, we will visit the look-outs of Wayrapunko, Andaguilque, Choquetico and the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma and Yanque.

On the way you will be able to see the Colca River and the agricultural terraces of the Colca Valley with an age of more than a thousand years old; then we will enjoy a buffet lunch in Chivay.

We will continue our trip to Arequipa city, arriving at 5:00 p.m. approximately and you will be drop off at your hotel.
